The Deep Thinker
Daily body wear
Royal Shamama is the most complex attar in the collection and one of the most complex traditionally produced fragrances in the world — a steam-distillation of over 60 botanicals including vetiver, sandalwood, spikenard, clove, rose, cinnamon, and dozens of rare Himalayan herbs, originally formulated for the Mughal imperial courts of North India. The composition opens with a rich, spiced complexity no single ingredient can claim — it is a fragrant archive of India's entire botanical heritage. The drydown is warm, earthy, and indefinitely complex, lasting 16–20+ hours on skin and indefinitely on fabric. There is nothing else like Royal Shamama anywhere: each batch is a living record of traditional Indian perfumery at its most ambitious. One of the most long-lasting attars in the collection. Best worn for special occasions, religious festivals, weddings, and any moment worth marking with something genuinely extraordinary. Apply 1–2 drops only.

Royal Shamama is the most complex traditional attar in Indian perfumery — a steam-distilled blend of over 60 botanicals including vetiver, sandalwood, spikenard, clove, rose, and dozens of rare Himalayan herbs, originally developed for the Mughal imperial courts of North India. The distillation process takes days and the ingredients are gathered from across the subcontinent. There is nothing else like it in the world of perfumery: a fragrant archive of India's entire botanical heritage.
Royal Shamama gives your drive a deep & mysterious mood: smoky, resinous and intriguing — for night drives and long highways. Its key notes are Herbs, Spices, Florals.
Royal Shamama is made for slow drives for the curious nose. Choose it when you want that feeling waiting for you the moment you open the door.
Tie the cap's cord to your rear-view mirror, then remove the inner plastic cap from the bottle and screw the bottle tightly onto the cap hanging from the mirror. The first time, turn the bottle upside down for about 30 seconds, then let it hang upright. Hang it so it does not block your view of the road.
After the first 30-second upside-down turn, simply turn the bottle upside down again whenever you feel you would like more fragrance. This is a rich fragrance, so a little goes a long way. Heat makes fragrance feel stronger, so you may need it less often in summer.
Screw the bottle onto the cap tightly and properly, and check it regularly — for example, give it a quick check each time you get into the car. Jerks and the normal motion of driving can slowly loosen it, and a loose bottle can fall. If it feels loose, tighten it straight away.
The bottle hangs from your mirror, so the oil stays away from seats, leather and the dashboard as long as it is screwed on tightly. Attar oil can leave marks on car interiors, so if you ever spill or drip any, wipe it away straight away with a dry cloth.
As an oil-based attar, it lingers longer than most alcohol-based sprays, but how long depends on your car, the air-conditioning and ventilation, and how often you turn the bottle. When the scent softens, turn it upside down again.
